Today, the most popular video site on the net launched YouTube EDU. Until now, it was somewhat difficult to find the quality educational content on YouTube. Universities like MIT and Yale have hundreds of videos on the site, but there was nowhere to find the lectures of all schools in one place.
The new YouTube EDU will be an amazing resource for lifelong learners, particularly because it offers over 200 full-length lectures and many complete courses.
A good place to start is the school directory, where you’ll find an alphabetical listing of participating colleges & universities. You can also run a search or browse through the most-viewed videos. Hopefully as the project improves, the videos will be organized by subject in addition to school.

At least it’s a start in the right direction to educate the masses
Good tip, thanks! In the upper right hand corner, you can search for a keyword within just the edu videos, which is the closest we get to being organized by subject for now…
